Beginning the first of 2020, new requirements will be in effect for LEVA's two certification programs, Technician and Analyst.
The changes reflect results of a comprehensive two-year evaluation of the program.
For those currently LEVA certified or plan to be, it is strongly suggested you become familiar with the respective requirements to be prepared to satisfy what's expected.
LEVA’s 30th Annual Digital Multimedia Evidence Training symposium wrapped up in Denver, Colorado after a hugely successful week!
More than 170 people registered for the event making it one of the best turnouts in LEVA history.

LEVA conducted the first series of classes of 2019.
During January 14-25, students from the Hong Kong Government Lab completed LEVA Levels 3 and 4 courses. LEVA instructors Tracy Peloquin and Ed Baker led Level 3. The Level 4 team was (L to R) Jonathan Hak, Scott Kuntz, Alan Salmon and Scott Sullivan.
January 28-29, the Puerto Rico Institute of Forensic Sciences hosted LEVA’s “Video Evidence for Investigators” class. 62 students from various federal, state and local agencies attended. LEVA Certified Technician Julia E. Hernández Arroyo hosted instructors Brandon Epstein, Rachel Maloney and Blake Sawyer.
Over 160 people attended LEVA’s 29th Annual Digital Multimedia Training Symposium in San Antonio, Texas during the week of November 5.
That is the best attendance of any preceding LEVA symposium. The growth reflects the interest, necessity and impact of LEVA’s digital multimedia evidence training program.
Attendees came from across the US, Canada, Scandinavia, Europe and the Caribbean. They represent law enforcement and public safety agencies at all levels, district attorney’s offices and private industry.
The LEVA Board of Directors thanks everyone including vendors and instructors who contributed to this truly memorable event.
Plans are already underway to mark the milestone of LEVA’s 30th annual training symposium. Put in on your calendars!
