The Courtroom Testimony for Expert Witnesses course held in Reynoldsburg, Ohio on May 1-3 was a big success, with students from six states attending. The class was particularly fortunate to be allowed to hold some of the moot courts in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Courthouse. Students were given a real taste of what it is like in the courtroom with students acting as expert witnesses testifying to their own forensic cases and other students taking on the roles of being prosecuting and defense attorneys.
There will be two other open registration Courtroom Testimony for Expert Witnesses courses this year: October 7-9 during the weeklong LEVA DME Training Symposium in Denver and October 21-23 in Albany, New York, hosted by the New York State Police. Class size is limited so register early to be assured a seat.
