March 24-25, 2025
This class will be offered online. Class time is 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
Course Overview:
This is a 5-day Intermediate to Advanced course in Adobe Premiere Pro for forensic media applications. Students are expected to have an intermediate working knowledge of the software, which includes understanding its basic functionality and being able to edit within its basic workflow. If you have completed LEVA’s 5-day Beginners course, or currently use Premiere Pro to some extent, then this class is for you. Prior experience working with digital media evidence is also beneficial.
Throughout the course you will learn and practice advanced techniques on stand alone cases while all the while building a courtroom demonstrative presentation that incorporates all that you’ll learn throughout the week.
This active engagement will provide you with the confidence and problem solving abilities that come from working through real and common forensic and/or creative challenges. And through this case-based learning method, using the Premiere Pro workflow, you will solidify the knowledge already obtained and further develop new skills.
By the end of the course, you will have an advanced level of skill to not only utilize Premiere Pro for much of the basic forensic processing techniques but to also use it as a tool for creating clarifying and demonstrative videos for your most complicated cases.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Students must have a computer capable of running Adobe Premiere Pro. Two monitors are recommended.

Course Review’s:
- “Angela was an excellent instructor. She’s calm and methodical in her approach and I haven’t taken a class in which I felt I had so much time to learn and practice. The elements I learned will stick with me. She’s also a very collaborative instructor. She genuinely enjoyed and cultivated group discussions in which we got to talk about our approaches and ideas. I learned as much from my peers as from her and I got to see some truly innovative ways to represent video information to a jury.”
- “Angela was great. Taught this course as you would expect an advanced level course to be run. Lots of practical showing and exercises to work with. I enjoyed the flow of it.”
- “The skills that I learned will help me to streamline my workflow.”
- “Class made a huge difference in how I will go about future jobs/request.”
- “Highly [recommend]. Great course for someone who has been in the field for a few years.”
- “Not only did I gain knowledge from the instructor, but from fellow students as well who bounced ideas off of the instructor.”
