Due to the still-recovering economy and agencies requirements to direct funds to operational matters, LEVA will not hold the Shield Awards at its annual banquet during this November's conference. A number of submissions must be received in order to make the process competitive. LEVA realizes that from fiscal priorities emerges fiscal realities. Many thanks to those who notified us they wished to submit productions but their agency could not fund the entry fee. You can't always submit when you want.
But do know that the banquet will still be held that Friday evening in Indianapolis wrapping up, what will be, a tremendous 21st annual training conference.
